Sunday, the Packers signed RB Cedric Benson. YESSSSSSSSSSS!!
As I have mentioned before, injuries especially in the running back position could be an issue for Green Bay, but they may have just found their answer.
Cedric may not be the youngest running back in the league, but I think he will still be able to hold his own. According to Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com, Benson said,
“I think I’ve got plenty. I still feel good. I’m still loose, I diet well and I train well and do the best I can to contribute to the longevity of my career as best I know how. And I think I’ve got plenty of years left. I feel great. “
That’s great to hear. I think he will be fine as well, and will be a crucial addition to this team, especially now that James Starks is out due to a turf toe injury.
Cedric began his career with the Chicago Bears in 2005, then played for the Cincinnati Bengals for four seasons, and now is apart of the Pack! Feel free to show some love to the newest member of the Packers team on Twitter!
